  • A school for all: The extent to which your school is externally recognised as inclusive, where pupils enjoying learning, achieving well against the odds, and show confidence and optimism about opportunities and life after school and wanting to make a contribution to their community as good citizens.
  • Brighter futures: Ways in which the school has overcome local challenges to create a calm and positive learning environment- pupils, parents and community feel pride and ownership and can point to examples of successful change and can articulate plans for the future. Alongside this, the school can demonstrate high standards both within and outside of the classroom.
  • Beyond the classroom: Examples of positive working between school and community that not only support pupils’ learning but also encourage successful community engagement and cohesion.
  • Inspiring and engaging others: Ways in which the school welcomes and engages parents in their children’s learning and collaborates other key partners to enrich the life and learning of the school.
