Lifetime Achievement

This award is for teachers who have dedicated their life to the teaching profession and are approaching the end of their career. These people will have had a significant and positive impact on the people they have worked with over the course of their teaching career; from pupils and colleagues to educational stakeholders and within their local community, and not only in their current schools but throughout their teaching career. Their commitment to, and passion for, education is exemplary to all.

We’d love to read about your colleague’s long-term efforts, dedication, and sustained commitment to education, how they have had an impact on those they have taught, worked with and inspired during their careers.

Please tell us in around 1000 words, referring to the guide prompts below. You can add further details in the additional information section at the end of this form, should you wish to.

Who can enter?

This category is for teachers and headteachers in schools or FE colleges approaching the end of their career, who hold QTS. We welcome entries from state and independent schools.
