This award is for a school or trust or partnership that is primarily driven by its collaboration with other schools and colleges. Leaders think less of ‘accountability’ and more of ‘responsibility’ – seeing their role as providing opportunities to make an impact on and enhance the lives of children, teachers and other staff through collaborative working.
These are schools or trusts or partnerships that have a commitment to a wider impact well beyond an individual school or institution. Leaders recognise that achievement isn’t just about test and examination results (though of course these matter). The winner of this award will have the moral drive to ensure that the opportunities traditionally enjoyed by the most advantaged members of a community are made more broadly available to all, irrespective of their background.
Please tell us why your partnership stands out, in around 1000 words, referring to the guide prompts below. When writing your entry please tell us how the strategic aims of the partnership are decided and how you plan for long term sustainability of the partnership. You can add further details in the additional information section at the end of this form, should you wish to.
This category is open to all schools, partnerships or trusts educating children aged between 4-18.
