Additional Information
The information we ask for in this section informs our marketing strategy and helps us ensure we are offering all schools in England, Wales and Northern Ireland maximum opportunity to enter into the Awards.
The Pearson National Teaching Awards is committed to encouraging schools to enter nominees that reflect the diverse communities across England, Wales and Northern Ireland and to ensure that the Awards are accessible to everyone regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, gender reassignment, socioeconomic background or age. To do this we need your help in filling out a short monitoring form. The information you provide will help ensure that our marketing processes are fair to all and will allow us to attract diverse and talented educators.
We gather and analyse diversity data to assess the extent to which we are achieving our diversity and inclusion aims. We recognise that some people may regard this information as private and have therefore included the option of ‘prefer not to say’ in all categories. You do not have to complete the form but it will help us improve our services and processes if you can complete as much as possible.
The information you provide will:
- not be used as part of the selection process;
- be used by the Teaching Awards for statistical purposes and to inform marketing strategy.
No information will be published which allows any individual to be identified. This section should only take a few minutes to complete. We thank you in advance for your support. Questions are relevant for individual Awards and so Team Awards entries are only asked for relevant information to them.
