Venture began in 2018 with Jenny and Zoe and a handful of children, each with a backpack, exploring the outdoors in south Devon. These adventures initiated the development of a unique ethos and pedagogy, fully focused on the wellbeing of children.

THE PEARSON NATIONAL TEACHING AWARDS UK CEREMONY 2024

In 2024 TV presenter Gaby Roslin once again hosted the prestigious awards ceremony at The Brewery, London. Joined by The Rt Hon Bridget Phillipson MP, BBC The One Show’s Jo Vaughan-Jones and Sir David Carter, the evening was all about shining a spotlight on the amazing teachers, teaching assistants, and education staff making a difference across the UK.

Rachel Bown, a teacher at Fairfield Farm College in Wiltshire was announced as the gold winner of the Award for Further Education Lecturer of the Year at Saturday’s 2023 Pearson National Teaching Awards, considered the ‘Oscars’ of the teaching profession.
