Gillian has been committed to making her city a better place for young people to study and live for almost 40 years. She has inspired and supported not only generations of children and their families but also fellow educational colleagues on a local level, nationally and internationally.
Working within one of the most deprived communities in Bradford and the UK, Gillian has achieved great outcomes for all the children in her care. Through her life she has inspired, developed and shown a great passion in working with families, local religious communities and colleagues to embrace diversity, raise aspirations and continually drive for the best outcomes for all.
Gillian has improved the lives of all the young children who have had the fortune to encounter her physically, socially and culturally.
