Chris is a consistently outstanding classroom practitioner; his approach to teaching is to continually reflect on his practice and look for new and more effective ways to engage students and promote a love of learning within his subject. Chris’ pedagogical practice is often shared widely across the school.
Chris creates the most electric of atmospheres within his classroom, the students hanging on every word. The bar of expectations of what all can achieve is set high whist maintaining emotional security so that no opinion is dismissed thus fantastic debates within his lessons are frequent.
Chris is an extremely popular member of the school, always full of energy and has a genuine passion for English. He has a contagious enthusiasm for his job and most importantly, the students he teaches.
