Carlton Junior and Infant School celebrates national recognition for long-serving staff member
A local teaching assistant has been revealed as a Gold Winner in the 2025 Pearson National Teaching Awards after receiving a surprise visit from BBC’s The One Show.
Shagufta Mirza, a teaching assistant at Carlton Junior and Infant School in Dewsbury, was announced as the Teaching Assistant of the Year during a special segment which aired last night, ahead of a star-studded awards ceremony taking place this weekend. Read the full article here
