We spoke to Headteacher Aaron Wanford, of Green Ridge Academy, who told us what an amazing teacher she is:
“Our parents completely agree that she goes above and beyond to make sure each of our children are happy, they’re safe, they’re learning and that they love coming to school every day.
“She’s so adaptable with whatever goes on in school.
“She runs with ideas and doesn’t get phased by things.
“She is someone which all of the children and parents can go to, talk to and gets along really well with everyone.”
This is what The Pearson Teaching Awards told us about Cinzia on their website:
“Cinzia has only been at Green Ridge Primary Academy for six months. Over that time, she has made an incredible start to her teaching career.
“Green Ridge Primary Academy is currently based in a porta cabin on a building site in the middle of a housing estate, which includes social housing.
The school only opened in September 2017 when Cinzia joined, with only two classes in Reception and one in Key Stage One, which Cinzia teaches now.
“The mix of thirty students in her class have all come from over twenty different schools, with a mass of different needs, meaning her lesson plans have to be specifically tailored to individual needs to ensure all students make progress.
Cinzia’s work has not gone unnoticed by parents, who have commented that they could not have hoped ‘for a better experience for their children”.
There were hundreds of entries from up and down the country, so congratulations Cinzia from everyone at Mix96.
