The Senior Leadership Team at New College Pontefract have, over the past five years, led the college through an unprecedented period of change, becoming an academy, setting up a multi-academy trust and establishing two new sixth form colleges in Bradford and Doncaster respectively. This significant growth means the number of students receiving outstanding post-16 provision in the region has grown from roughly 2000 to 4000 since 2015.
All of this has been achieved at the same time as maintaining some of the best results nationally in the sixth form college sector. Overall, the team have ensured there are nearly 3,500 high-quality college places on offer across Doncaster, Bradford and Pontefract.
