The Rowans’ staff team has been working hard for years to improve standards, academic progress and behaviour and in February 2015 the school was rated outstanding in all areas by Ofsted.
This staff team has ensured rapid change and improvement and the constant hard work and commitment from the teachers, teaching assistants and the administrative staff has been incredible. The team works tirelessly to improve the life chances of challenging pupils in Medway. They are kind, understanding and supportive. The teaching and learning that happens at The Rowans is innovative and inspires the pupils to learn.
The most amazing achievement of the team is the way in which they ensure academic progress and achievement, whilst meeting emotional needs. They are inspirational and life changers and deserve recognition for their hard work and commitment.
