Sue Jay has been teaching children and young adults with severe or profound learning difficulties and complex needs for 37 years.

Sue is passionate about changing the lives of each and every one of her pupils and ensuring that they achieve their full potential in living meaningful and fulfilling lives as independently as possible. Sue approaches this with inspirational teaching through the medium of performing arts.

The impact that Sue’s approach to teaching has on her pupils is life-changing and Sue is the one teacher that so many pupils will remember for all of their lives. Her Headteacher and all the team agree it is a privilege to witness her inspirational work on a daily basis and can’t thank her enough for all that she does for the school.
