Sharon has worked at Puddletown First School since 1999 and in that time has supported many children and staff. Her passion, commitment and dedication to all the children is outstanding and an example to all who work at the school.
She supports all aspects of the children’s lives; both in the classroom and beyond by working with children to provide targeted support; providing pastoral care and being involved in residential visits. At the heart of all she does however remains the welfare and well-being of the children.
It is typical of Sharon that she views this award not simply as recognition of her work but of the work done by the whole team, in particular the teaching assistants. They really are the unsung heroes of schools, and crucial to the well-being and outcomes of the children.
