Sarah Kennedy is a truly inspiring teacher who believes in learning through experience, she makes the curriculum come alive for her class. Her classroom is never just a classroom. It can be anything from an engineering workshop to a time-travelling device!
Under her imaginative guidance, her class has built – and raced – an electric kit car and built a quarter-sized Viking longhouse, using traditional Viking joinery techniques. Colleagues say that her pupils are always asking “what’s next?”
Sarah also provides support as SENCO for the school, and mentors her colleagues.
