Rosemary has worked in primary education for 43 years, and led an outstanding school as headteacher for 11 years. Under her leadership the school was the runner up in the National Pupil Premium Awards and was the second school in the North West School to attain World Class School status. She is adept in identifying school leaders to drive forward strategic school improvement, whilst empowering and developing others.
Rose developed a culture and ambition for children, staff, and families to achieve, which resulted in national recognition for awards such as Eco schools, Rights Respecting Schools, Active Marks, Platinum Sportsmark and Children’s University. In May the school was acknowledged for outstanding achievement as financial champions at the award renewal of the Centre of Excellence Young Money.
