Rohit has been the Head Teacher of Hope School since 2002, and has a clear passion and commitment to providing the best outcomes for some of the most disengaged and disadvantaged children in the city.
Hope School was rated outstanding by Ofsted in 2014 in all areas however Rohit did not rest on his laurels, he then forged ahead on a new journey of becoming an SEMH maintained school that was providing an attachment enriched environment. Rohit moved away from traditional SEMH strategies and invested in a much greater ambition which went from ‘managing behaviour’ to truly understanding the function of behaviours.
Rohit has demonstrated unwavering commitment to Hope School and his longevity of service has had a profoundly positive impact on a range of stakeholders, but most importantly the pupils at Hope School.
