Rob produces fantastic exam results with fun lessons and a positive rapport with his pupils. During the first lockdown Rob helped teach vulnerable pupils, in addition to his normal timetable, while also transforming the entire Science department into a ‘Crystal Maze’ of 12 themed laboratories. Pupils had to solve puzzles and ‘escape’ from each room.
Rob also organsies and leads Biology field trips and World Challenge expeditions to places such as Malaysia, Costa Rica and Malawi, helping students to learn about conservation whilst enjoying activities such as canoeing, diving and rafting. Such trips involve many months of planning, risk assessing, team-building and fundraising, but he willingly gives up his own time to ensure the best possible life and learning experiences for students.
