Richard is a teacher who gives above and beyond in all aspects of his professional life. There are three things that characterize all he does: passion, creativity and excellence. Richards passion for our pupils to be high achievers shows in high expectations, brilliant scripting and coaching and is felt by “osmosis” by all who work with him, see his lessons or productions or whose children he teaches. His teaching, judged outstanding, allows all individuals to overcome barriers to learning or manage their challenging behaviour in whatever curriculum area is being taught through the innovative, fun and creative approaches he uses. Excellence characterises his expectations of himself foremost, his pupils and staff around him. Second best is never good enough!
