Raminder Singh Vig has a passion for helping all children to value education and develop the motivation and skills to succeed in life. He has led a struggling school to success, building upon an idea of a truly community-focused education. His positive values and strength of character have provided a focus for all staff, students, and parents within his area.
Throughout his career, he has been driven by continuous school improvement and sharing ideas for education development. In his first leadership role, he started a group, financed by Hounslow Education Department, to coach and encourage ethnic minority teachers to take up leadership roles in their schools. Subsequently, he became a verifier for NPQH and, as a teaching school, has seen many students from Reading University pass on to successful teaching posts.
