Khalsa Primary School has some of the highest results in the country and staff are passionate about offering every child every possible chance to succeed. It is based in an ‘oasis’ in Slough, with hundreds of newly planted trees and shrubs, provided through donations from parents, the community and local businesses. Many children are without gardens but are able to grow vegetables on the newly established farm, while during lockdown, the school bought and delivered much needed food vouchers and provided laptops for those without access to one.
