As Director of Year 11, Katie Warmer not only teaches Science brilliantly, but she ensures all students get the best chance of success. Katie is committed whole-heartedly to the school she once attended and makes a difference every day. After being the first member of her family to attend university, she trained as a teacher specifically to come back to this school to help others like her.
Aside from her teaching role, Katie even gives up her holiday time to take students on trips away, knowing that otherwise they would never have the chance to go. She relentlessly encourages work experiences, applications to Post-16 placements and celebrates success.
Katie is a role model for high aspirations and hard work, and colleagues think she is a legend.
