Jane is a truly inspirational school leader. She has been teaching since 1978 and became headteacher and then principal of Paignton Community and Sports Academy in 1998. Her dedication and values have positively changed the lives of generations of pupils, teachers and leaders within Torbay, nationally and internationally. Jane encourages students to work hard and aim high. She strives to develop British values and young people who are proud of themselves and their school. Jane is driven by is the desire for all those children and adults under her care to achieve the very best they possibly can. She has devoted her life to improving the life chances of young people. Jane’s judgement, strategic vision and commitment are unprecedented.
