A calm person in a crisis, one member of staff said it was his super strength! His unflappable nature has allowed Ian to be patient, compassionate, and light-hearted with vulnerable young people in the school. Ian has led on the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award across secondary, his work inspiring and motivating young people to take part. During his eight years as Student Support Worker, Ian has approached every student who needs him with the same care, empathy and boundless enthusiasm. Helping them to become the best students they can be.
