Ed joined the school as Assistant Principal in 2013 and led the Child Protection team. He worked with some of our most vulnerable families and offered great support to many.
More recently, Ed chose to step out of the Leadership team and focus on driving the school’s improvement from within the classroom as Lead Practitioner.
He hung up his PE shorts and worked through the summer to turn his passion for History into a methodology for teaching this and English.
His skill, passion and infectious enthusiasm has led to students plagued with self-doubt becoming confident young adults who see themselves as learners with an academic future. His commitment helped Kings College Guildford move from ‘Inadequate’ to ‘Good’ in 18 months.
