Diamond Wood Community Academy is the heart of the community, where children feel appreciated and their achievements are celebrated. Children are at the centre of the school, where Eco, Arts and School Councillors drive the school forwards.
The school is particularly proud of its success with disadvantaged pupils, who leave school achieving better results than the national average for all pupils. Their progress is outstanding, often scoring far above national averages, despite 98% of children having English as an additional language.
The school provides a vast range of support, courses and events for its families to promote a brighter future for its children, in line with its motto, ‘A Place to Grow and a Place to Shine.’
