Delph Side strives to be a shining beacon for its Lancashire community: a hub of aspiration and determination mixed with a haven of sanctuary, support, kindness and simple consistency. Various community projects build collaboration within Skelmersdale, which is often referred to locally as the ‘forgotten’ town.
The school’s attainment and progress measures have been on a positive trajectory over recent years, having moved from RI to Good in May 2016. Staff consider themselves as one extended family and work closely with its many and varied stakeholders to ensure that support is available for the ‘whole’ family.
