Based at the Specialist Teaching Facility (STF) at Tre Uchaf Primary School in Swansea, Claire Warlow teaches very young children with learning difficulties from the age of 3 to 7. Described by Teaching Awards judges as one very special teacher, the care and dedication she gives to her pupils and team is simply exceptional. Pupils come to her Centre with a diverse range of needs and from the initial discussion with anxious parents, her enthusiasm and high expectations take over! Every small step the children take is celebrated and shared with their families and milestones are slowly but surely reached. Her determination and unwavering confidence in her pupils is infectious in the classroom and her team of teaching assistants are inspired to ensure their pupils can achieve success. As one parent said, Claire transforms the lives of her pupils and their families. She is an exceptional winner of this prestigious Award.
