Chris has had a very successful and varied career. He started in engineering where he worked in both the public and private sector as a building engineer and a surveyor. In 1994 he decided to become a teacher. His motivation for doing this was to share his knowledge and experience with young people and to encourage them to be the best that they can be.
Chris has brought his wealth of industrial experience to inspire pupils in the primary and secondary phases of school to follow a career in the STEM subjects. Chris is a modest character, self-effacing and unassuming, he is regarded as an expert in his field, who all staff can turn to for inspiration and advice. His work and expertise is widely known and enhances the reputation of the school across the local authority.
