Chris is the inspirational Principal Headteacher of The Orion & Goldbeaters Primary Schools, in North London. He has worked tirelessly to transform the community since 2000, when his new vision for education ‘The Orion’ opened, which created an environment that recognised the star in everyone.
In 2004 Chris took over Goldbeaters and created the Gold Star Federation. Both schools provide innovative and inspirational learning. The numerous outstanding Ofsted grades, and wealth of awards are testimony to his hard work and vision.
At the federation of 1500 pupils, learning is accelerated as pupils and staff are immersed in a positive and happy environment. Chris has created “I Shine Learning” – unique creative and fun learning across both schools. Staff are as motivated as the children through his “Everyone a Leader” approach and are encouraged to develop their passions.
