Cheryl works for the (Sutton & Surrey) LEO Academy Trust as Director for Computing and Digital Skills, where she leads on the development of computing and digital skills education for almost 4000 pupils. She has also helped children to see how technology can create a global learning experience, by taking pupils on 3D virtual trips to China and running virtual Mandarin lessons with a local teacher, opportunities which otherwise would have been inaccessible.
From developing digital presentations to recording videos and creating quizzes to test each other’s knowledge, Cheryl has inspired a passion for technology in every pupil. Her pedagogy-backed digital strategy has led to the Trust’s sector-wide recognition as innovative and forward thinking.
