What sets Andy apart is that he has a relentless drive to improve his practice to ensure the very best for every child in his care. Therefore, he will continually reflect and adapt his practice finding what works best for each child. Seeking to reduce workload, he trialled and is now working with staff to embed verbal feedback across the school and as a consequence teachers no longer take books home to mark – this is a phenomenal shift – teachers are now free to focus on what matters.
