Alex Bramley is an outstanding teacher with a unique and creative approach to lessons, who goes the extra mile to make the whole school a great learning environment.

Among Alex’s achievements are working with the class to achieve the Woodland Trust Award, and buying a broken vending machine, repairing it and filling it with books as rewards for pupils. He also organised a ‘Pride of Chesterfield’ awards with the school Year 6s, who hosted the awards ceremony, which was attended by parents, the local mayor and local radio.

Using co-operative learning, Alex ensures all children are participating actively in lessons, and he has developed the use of co-operative learning with staff to have a wider impact across the school. His lessons are always well prepared, unique and inspiring for our children.

Alex’s colleagues say he is an inspiration to his colleagues, the children and the community.
