Celebrating impact

The Pearson National Teaching Awards were set up to celebrate the impact of invaluable education within the UK. Run by The Teaching Awards Trust and supported by Pearson and the BBC, they are the UK’s most prestigious celebration of transformational teaching.

Key dates

• 7th October 2024 – 2025 Award entries open
• 28th February 2025 – Entry deadline
• Late April – Notification of shortlist
• Late April – Late May – Judging visits
• 18th June – Thank a Teacher Day (Certificate, Bronze and Silver Winner announcements)
• July – Silver Winners celebration
• Late November – Gold Winners announced on BBC’s The One Show
• Late November – Pearson National Teaching Awards UK Ceremony
