Nominations win books!

Mill Hill celebrate
A teacher who was nominated by a colleague for a Teaching Award has won £1000-worth of books for her school, thanks to Oxford University Press.
Sue Nicklin, a Year 5 class teacher at Mill Hill Primary School in Stoke on Trent, was nominated by her teaching assistant, which led to her name being automatically entered in a free prize draw.
The school, which has 460 pupils, is one of several to win a nomination prize this year.
OUP is giving £30,000-worth of books over three years to encourage schools to put names forward for the awards.
The school's head teacher, Mr Andrew Warren said: 'We are absolutely delighted with this unexpected but most welcome influx of new books. This year, single status and other “extras” have really hit our school budget and so this bonus allows us to channel even more money into buying top quality books for our children. They will benefit, and the staff are extremely grateful. Thank you.'
Greg Abbot from OUP said: 'Reading is such a vital part of learning and a love of books can stay with children for the rest of their lives. We are so pleased to help the Awards in this way.'
